Alpha Contour Blades for Engineered Stone
The Alpha® Contour Blade features blade design specifically developed for cutting granite sinkholes. The Alpha® Contour Blade also works very well on all curved cutting applications for engineered stone and harder types of marble. The special design incorporates direct sintered diamond segments on both sides of the steel core, as well as, on the peripheral cutting edge. This allows the blade to cut the curved area cleanly, accurately and safely while allowing a wider kerf, thus giving the blade easier cutting ability. The diamond segment on the inside of the steel core prevents undercutting, which is a common problem with curve cutting applications. Due to the excellent cutting ability and the wider kerf, there is a marked increase in maneuverability over that of a standard blade. This eliminates the need to perform difficult and time-consuming plunge cuts. The Alpha® Contour Blade can be used either wet or dry. It is versatile and fits on most common angle grinders. The Alpha® Contour Blade is unique and very cost-effective. The capabilities and long life of the Alpha® Contour Blade makes it the best choice for any curve cutting application.

Alpha Contour Blades for Marble
The Alpha® Contour Blade for Marble is designed specifically for cutting marble and limestone sinkholes and other curve cutting applications. The special design incorporates an electroplated diamond on the both sides of the steel core, as well as on the peripheral cutting edge. This allows the blade to cut a curved area cleanly, accurately and safely while allowing a wider kerf, thus giving the blade easier cutting ability. Due to the excellent cutting ability, there is a noticeable increase in maneuverability over other standard blades. The Alpha® Contour Blade for Marble can be used either wet or dry. It is versatile and fits on the AWS-125 Wet Stone Cutter that allows plunge cutting with ultimate control.The Alpha® Contour Blade for Marble is unique and very cost-effective. Alpha Contour Blades for Porcelain
The Alpha® Contour Blade, introduced several years ago for cutting curves in granite and other hard natural and engineered stones, is the blade of choice for hand curve cutting operations such as, performing sinkhole cut-outs. Now, with the introduction to the marketplace of 3cm porcelain slab, Alpha® has developed the Contour Blade for Porcelain.Due to the nature of porcelain, traditional diamond stone blades are not suitable for working on this material. Porcelain is a hard, dense, homogenous material that is prone to chipping, which can lead to fractures. Alpha® has designed a complete Porcelain Slab Fabrication System. The Alpha® Contour Blade for Porcelain is a key component to that system intended for working on porcelain without chipping or damaging the material.For the best performance, use the Alpha® Contour Blade for Porcelain on the new AWS-125 Wet Stone Cutter. The combination of the Alpha® Contour and the AWS-125 helps to assure the success of performing sink cut-outs without breaking the rim.While the Alpha® Contour Blade may be used wet or dry; due to the nature of porcelain, Alpha® Contour Blade for Porcelain must be used wet.
